Three earthquakes recorded different regions of Peru Monday May 14, 2012

An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude on the Richter scale woke the people of Arequipa, Moquegua and Tacna at 05:00 pm yesterday. The earthquake alerted people who left their homes before the threat of possible aftershocks. In addition, coincided with a sudden cut of electricity. Classes in schools and universities were suspended. Also recorded six minor injuries and landslides of rock and earth that disrupted via Tacna. Read Article
