The “Border Gang” drug trafficking organization usurped in Argentina

A drug trafficking gang called “la banda de la frontera,” or the Border Gang was usurped after officials arrested four men and three women in La Matanza, Argentina. The organization is known to traffick drugs between Argentina and Paraguay. A large quantity of marijuana, two vehicles, firearms, and cash were seized during the operation, Online 911 reports. It began when police noticed a suspicious truck and followed it. When the vehicle arrived at a residence, the passengers attempted to flee. The house was raided, which revealed 63,500 kilos of marijuana inside a Paraguayan vehicle. Read Article
