Study reveals 50% of high school students consume alcohol

The data come from the Fifth National Survey on psychoactive substance use, conducted by the Argentine Observatory of Drugs. The percentage increases, however, in the group of adolescents between 15 and 18. The trend, however, remains “stable” since 2001. A survey by the Argentine Drug Observatory between August and September last year revealed that alcohol use among adolescents remains high in the country, as it reached almost 50 percent of respondents.
