Spain, Mexico reach agreement to ease entry of Mexican tourists at airports

Spain and Mexico reached an agreement yesterday to facilitate the arrival of Mexican tourists at airports. As a result of the entry requirements arising from the Schengen Treaty, many Mexicans were rejected on arrival in Spain. From now on, inadmisiones only occur in cases “fully justified”. As the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, the Spanish authorities take into account the “special circumstances of Mexican tourists who are invited by friends or relatives living in Spain.” Also facilitate the transition to citizens traveling to another Schengen country.
