São Paulo, Brazil: 28 suspects detained for supplying drugs within the state

Globo reported on August 2, 2013 that police arrested twenty-eight suspects for drug trafficking in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo. The gang members are accused of supplying drugs in 1500 areas within the state. One of the leaders of the gang is suspected of conducting criminal activity from inside prison. The drugs were supplied from Bolivia. With the assistance of 250 officers in this operation, police seized drugs, computers, cell phones, and money.
