San Carlos, Ecuador: Police Raid Camp, Fuel Storage Found

According to ElUniverso.com the police of the hydrocarbon energy unit raided a hacienda in San Carlos in the province of Guayas on the morning of Friday June 17th. The unit found fuel stored for smuggling activities in the vicinity of the hacienda, reported the police. The fuel was bound for Huaquillas, a city located on the Ecuador-Peru border. The camp was hidden under bushes and covered by black plastic bags reported a Guayaquil radio station, Citynoticias. Police found 30 cans and 25 tanks of diesel oil and gasoline.
