Russia to launch satellite for Ecuador in 2013

The launch of the first satellite of Ecuador, called “Pegasus”, was postponed for the first four months of 2013 due to a delay in launching rockets agenda in Russia, reported by a statement Ecuadorian Civilian Space Agency (EXA).

According to the Ecuadorian astronaut Ronnie Nader, director of the country’s space program, the project will cost Space Agency about $ 80,000, while the Ecuadorian state invested $ 500,000 to “buy” the Russian space rocket to launch it. Read Article
