Quito Ecuador: over 9,000 women victims of violence between Jan.-Sept. 2012

Today is the international day of non-violence against women

Only 20.6% of the abused filing the complaint. It is estimated that from January to September, 45,400 were victims of violence The City Council created the Centers of Equity

Within a month, this dependence is serving 1250 domestic violence cases. According to Metropolitan Security Observatory, between January and September this year there were 9,361 complaints of mistreatment of women in Quito.
