NEW FIRES THREATENING QUITO ECUADOR
According to Eluniversal.com, Several fires, three of them of magnitude, occurred yesterday around the capital, with no casualties reported, but ended with large sections of vegetation, sparking concern in neighboring towns. Since early yesterday morning to press time, the Fire Department responded emergencies Lumbisí Quito, Guangopolo, Atacazo, Guápulo, Zambiza, San Francisco neighborhood of Miravalle, sector Valley Gardens, located on the hill Auqui, Ilaló hill, The Bun, and the hill Ungüí Heart Pifo hacienda, in the northeast of Quito.
