Police in Brazil Arrest Argentines on Bus With 10 Kilograms of Cocaine

On March 5, 2013, the Brazilian Federal Highway Police reported that it has arrested two Argentine men on a bus headed from São Paulo to Salvador after a routine check.  Early Tuesday morning, police seized ten kilograms of cocaine from one of the man’s bags.  Upon questioning the passengers, police connected the bag to a 36 year-old Argentine man.  He was travelling with a 51 year-old accomplice.  Police took the drugs to the local drug unit in São José dos Campos, and the men were processed.  If convicted, they could face five to fifteen years in prison.  Read Article
