Police Discover Drug Refinery in Apartment in São Paulo, Brazil

On January 16, 2013, São Paulo Police reported that a large drug refinery was discovered in the North Zone of the city of São Paulo.  Police discovered the refinery after arresting a suspect on the street who presented false documentation.  While held, the man admitted that he was a manager of a drug trafficking ring, and led the police to an apartment with more drugs.  In the apartment, police discovered more drugs and materials required for the processing and packaging of mode substances.  The man was taken to the local police station, where he faces charges of drug trafficking and presenting false documents.  Read Article
