Plunge into Argentina’s wetlands

We explore Iberá, South America’s second largest estuary

I sure do look funny in my head-to-toe, Mormaii, semi-dry outfit — the six-millimeter-thick, bright blue camouflage neoprene spacesuit required for diving in chilly 53-degree freshwater. But not as funny as I feel. I’m feeling strangely apprehensive. Not because I look like an excommunicated Smurf, but because these beautiful amber waters, part of the Corriente River that joins up with the Iberá wetlands in Northern Argentina, is full of crocodiles — black caiman to be exact.
