Peruvian policewoman assaulted after refusing to take bribe from driver

tuteve.tv reported that a traffic policewoman was verbally insulted and beaten by a driver after he refused to receive a ticket for talking on a cellphone while driving and not using his seat belt. However, not recognizing his infractions, the driver and his mother insulted the policewoman and the driver physically assaulted her and threw her the ground stating she was nothing.
The officer stated that the driver who was argumentative and claimed he worked for a mining company, offered the officer a bribe which she refused to take. The driver was arrested. The incident happened in Cajamarca, Peru Read Article
