Payasandú, Uruguay: Authorities Seize 4 Kilos of Cocaine Destined for Canada

From lainformacion.com on June 29, 2013- Uruguayan police seized 4.2 kilos of cocaine that were to be sent to Canada in a package. A Uruguayan judge issued a warrant for the arrest of the Bolivian man who dropped off the package. The package was seized at an international shipping company in Payasandú after an official at the shipping company suspected something about the package in question. After calling the police, it was determined that the shipment of dance mats was infused with cocaine. Although the cocaine and the man responsible are thought to be of Bolivian origin, police suspect that this is part of an international drug shipping operation operating out of Argentina.
