Paraguay: Drug seizures indicate drug route to Argentina and clandestine airstrips

After large drug seizures in the Coronel Oviedo, Caazapá, and Villarrica areas of Paraguay, officials have noted that the destination of these shipments was Caazapá. From there, the drugs would enter Argentina, according to a Color ABC report. The shipments are believed to leave Caazapá via clandestine airstrips. Anonymous sources claim a low-ranking police officer works to protect narco-traffickers in the area. No names of the suspected drug traffickers in Caazapá have been released. Read Article
