Operations in Argentina lead to seizure of cocaine from Bolivia and marijuana

Two anti-narcotics operations in Argentina led to the capture of nearly 100 kilograms of cocaine and 82 of marijuana. The first seizure occurred at the Quiaca checkpoint on Route 9, where drug sniffing dogs were able to alert officials of a suspicious Peugeot vehicle. According to Diario La Nueva Provincia, 97 kilos of cocaine were found in the vehicle. The four occupants were arrested: three women and a man, of Bolivian nationality. The drugs originated in Villazon, Bolivia. The second operation occurred in the province of Misiones, where a bus headed to Buenos Aires was stopped.
