Old Portuguese airstrips, forest areas used in drug route from Morocco

Drug traffickers have reportedly been using old airstrips, as well as forest areas near Galicia, Spain to receive drug shipments from Morocco. According to Faro de Vigo, this area lacks law enforcement presence, making it easy for narco-traffickers to operate. To test exactly how easy it would be to traffick drugs into the country, reporters flew a plane loaded with vegetables from Morocco to Portugal and determined the absence of police control would favor drug traffickers.
