Oil Spill Punta de Mata Venezuela

At 5:00 p.m. on Monday a Pdvsa pipeline burst and oil poured in Punta de Mata, in La Orchila sector, state of Monagas. Technicians and workers of the state-run oil company Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa) collected the oil in that area of El Tejero-Maturín national highway. The spill occurred near the Amana oil operation center, about 20 miles from a natural lagoon where workers continue the cleanup of a previous oil spill, Pdvsa sources reported.
