Nicaragua, coffee exports up 50 percent

The value of Nicaragua’s coffee exports rose 50.3 percent in the first three months of the 2010-2011 harvest, compared to the same period last season, a government source said today. Coffee sales abroad from October to December 2010 totaled 43.9 million dollars, while from October to December 2009 were $ 29.2 million, detailed the Center for Export Procedures (CETREX) in a preliminary report released in website.
