Jalisco, Mexico: More than 100,000 liters of adulterated tequila, other liquors

Derived from operations conducted by the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris), in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property ( IMPI), Federal Police (PF) and Tax Administration Service (SAT), the Attorney General of the State of Jalisco (PGJEJ) and the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco), is that they managed to secure some more 100 thousand liters of apocryphal and spurious, so far this year, of which 25 000 were destroyed and burnt symbolically.
