New threats to journalists in Ecuador

Lahora.com.ec reported that Threats to the integrity and life of journalists have become more evident in the last month, because those affected have published their reports.

There are at least four cases that have been released, so the Ecuador Journalists Forum (FOPE) expressed rejection “of any threat to the physical integrity of every journalist in the country.”

The latest attack occurred yesterday, when the director of Radio Democracy, Gonzalo Rosero, complained of persecution. “We do not know where it came from that company undesirable, such monitoring tenacious,” said the journalist interviews during his space, which Assemblyman Paco Moncayo (AL) was a guest.
