Mexico: Seized Art Works from criminals by police, go missing

telesurtv.net reported the artwork seized from drug lords and other criminals is supposed to be auctioned, but on their way to the auction house, hundreds have gone missing.

The Mexican Office of the Attorney General (PGR) seized and then lost one thousand 120 works of art and archeological artifacts from 2006 to 2013, during anti-crime operatives and drug raids. Paintings signed (allegedly) by Diego Rivera, Rufino tamayo, Dr. Atl and even Gustav Klimt have gone missing. Read Article
