Mexico: prison raids Cancun, Cozumel, Chetumal uncovers large cache contraband

Elements of state and municipal police, supported by the Mexican Army, conducted simultaneous raids criminal Cancun, Cozumel and Chetumal, where confiscated drugs, sharp stabbing weapons, cell phones, beer and cane liquor.

In a statement, the Ministry of Public Security said that the operation in Cancun prison lasted about four hours and were eventually seized 221 doses of the drug known as “popcorn” and 100 grams of marijuana.

In addition, 70 liters of tepache, five cell phones, knives and 54 guns homemade and scissors, tubes, hair cutting machine, sticks and stones. Read Article
