Mexico: Increased surveillance for cholera in ice factories

To keep the body free from cholera, the Ministry of Health has intensified inspection and cleansing ice plants, in addition to exercise special surveillance of food handlers and traders of seafood in the municipalities of Tampico, Madero and Altamira .

Staff of the State Commission for the Prevention of Health Risks has been commissioned to carry out samples of water, ice and food markets, restaurants, resorts and beach areas in the suburbs. Read Article
