Mexico: Employees Robbed Global Express Hotel, Not Zetas

According to Periodicodigital.com.mx an attack on the Global Express Hotel, located on the Mexico Puebla highway, allegedly was the work of the Zetas. The hotel is located near FINSA Park. However, a police investigation has produced important clues to what happened. The two employees that were held hostage for 50,000 pesos are part of the same family and are now suspects, according to police. The police say that there is no evidence of an armed group entering the hotel and that all the guests have said that the hotel guard collected the ransom. Principle suspects are Jenny Hernandez Mendoza and Zeus Mendoza Tapia, who police say planned the scheme.Read Article
