Mexico: Drug lords recruit the elderly

According to the Attorney General’s office during the last six-year period the number of elderly involved in organized crime has increased markedly. From December 2006 to November 2011 there has been more than 4 000 senior citizens arrested for their involvement with drug traffickers. Since they inspire love and friendliness they are used to be informants and transport drugs to elude authorities. Read Article
