Mexico: After five years on the run from U.S. authorities, American drug trafficker found in San Felipe

A drug dealer wanted in the United States for the sale and distribution of methamphetamine was arrested in the port of San Felipe, in the southern town of Mexicali, where it remained hidden for five years. The International Liaison Coordinator State Preventive Police (PEP), Alfredo Arenas Moreno, said that with information provided by U.S. officials, it was learned the whereabouts of David Park, 58 years old. Arenas Moreno explained that David Park crossed the border after learning he was wanted by the law of the American Union, after an arrest warrant on charges of possession of narcotics for sale. After Park crossed the border, took refuge in the port of San Felipe, where posing as tourists, “when we found him hiding in the tourist field name Dorado Ranch, where a group of undercover elements managed to secure” outlined .
