Melchor Ocampo Mexico: Residents burn ballots in protest of election results

The ballots that were used on July Sunday to elect new municipal authorities, were burned at night by enraged neighbors who protested that they removed the PAN victory in the municipal election. Prep the IEEM first determined in preliminary results won by the PAN, but the count supposedly won the PRI-PVEM coalition-Honeycomb, Isidro Juarez Rivas, an advantage of 45 votes. More than 500 residents of Melchor Ocampo last night blocked with stones, tires and road logs Cuautitlán-Melchor Ocampo at various points, so trailers were stranded on the road and motorists looked for alternatives.
