Major Fire Cuenca Ecuador – August 15, 2012

Eltiempo.com.ec reported Wednesday night, the historic center of the city into chaos. Around 22:00, a fire broke out on the roof of the Seminary St. Louis, near the Cathedral Immaculate, and spread because the structure of that building is made up of old timbers. Firefighters and witnesses presume that the fire was started by a fireworks that fell on the roof of the old house, in the area that faces the street Father Aguirre and Simon Bolivar.
The guard Lupo Cevallos, the ice cream Tutto Freddo, said that at that time was seen falling from a balloon inside the old seminary and minutes later a lot of smoke, which led to call the fire department, that a few minutes then came to extinguish the fire. Read Article
