Liberty Mutual Insurance Group expanding into Ecuador

Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, one of the largest property insurers in the world, today announced the expansion of its operations in Ecuador, following the acquisition of two companies in the South American country: Pan and Cervantes.

With that, Liberty Expands Operations in Latin America, where it already has a presence in countries like Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela, the insurer said in a statement.

He added that with the acquisition and market share combined Panamericana de Seguros del Ecuador SA and SA Cervantes Insurance and Reinsurance Company Liberty is located as the fifth largest insurance carrier in the Ecuadorian market.
