Left-wing politicians, academic and activists will discuss the new political panorama in Latin America

telesurtv.net reported thirty left-wing personalities from 20 countries will be among the participant of the first Latin American Progressive Encounter (ELAP), to be held in Ecuador on September 29 and 30. The meeting is organized by Ecuador’s leftist PAIS Alliance, the political movement of Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa. ELAP is a political forum to analyze the challenges of Latin America’s progressive governments, especially given the renewed offensive from right-wing sectors across the continent. Read Article
