Ecuador: President Correa blames right wing conspiracy in attacking Latin America Integration

panampost.com/karina martin wrote…. Ecuador President Rafael Correa claimed this week that there have been deliberate attempts by the right to destroy the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Correa claimed that the right is attempting to attack Latin America integration and its acting organizations.

“When the right cannot win by democratic means,” it tries to “destabilize governments,” he said, referencing attempts in Ecuador, Bolivia, Honduras and Paraguay in which “Unasur reacted” to political events that didn’t go in their favor.

These are “the right’s tricks to prevent democracy and the freedom of choice of our people,” he said. Read Article
