Leader of Los Urabeños gang flew to Honduras on stolen Colombian plane

Alexánder Montoya Úsuga, believed to be the second-in-command of the Los Urabeños gang, was arrested on July 17, 2012 in Honduras. He was wanted for flying on an aircraft previously stolen from the El Dorado airport in Colombia, UPI Español reports. He is also believed to have been responsible for ordering and renting airplanes used to transport drugs from Colombia to Honduras. From there, the drugs would travel to Mexico and into the hands of the Los Zetas cartel, which would traffick the merchandise to Europe and the United States. Read Article
