Heredia Costa Rica: at least 100 children working informally on streets

101 children, aged between 14 and 17 years working in public spaces in the Central district of Heredia, workshops, shops and markets-and in the National Distribution Center Fund (CENADA) in Barreal.This was revealed by a study on child labor conducted by the National University (UNA). The analysis notes that the causes that lead young people to this are, first, the difficult economic situation they face in their homes and, secondly, how little they feel motivated to attend classes.
