Guayaquil Ecuador: 1.5 tons of cocaine seized in pineapple sshipment destined for Belgium

Eluniverso.com reported that 1.5 ton of drugs found last Wednesday in the seaport of Guayaquil was bound for Belgium, Europe, as General William Balarezo, commander of Metropolitan Police District. The officer explained that the alkaloid was discovered in a container filled with pineapple and were considering other containing bananas. “And this will give us the pattern (for) that during the hours have some result …” he said. The news was reported by the interior minister, Jose Serrano, through his Twitter account @ ppsesa , which reported that in total there were seven containers which were being inspected. Read Article
