Guadalajara Mexico: criminals block major roads, setting cars on fire

Saturday armed criminals convulsed the Mexican state of Jalisco with 22 blocks in various ways-seven in the capital, Guadalajara, the second largest in the country with stolen vehicles and sometimes on fire, local authorities said. “We confirmed 22 blocks, seven in metropolitan (Guadalajara) and 15 in the interior of the state”, leaving a bullet wounded, told AFP a spokesman for the Public Security Secretariat of Jalisco. The agency began reporting four blocks in the south of the city of Guadalajara, Mexico’s second largest with 4.4 million inhabitants, which started around 14H30 local time (19H30 GMT) and lasted a few minutes because of rapid intervention police.
