France not to produce travel warning to Colombia in light of French journalist being kidnapped

The French government will not change their perception of security in Colombia, despite the kidnapping of its citizens Roméo Langlois, who has about 11 days held by the FARC. The French ambassador in Colombia, Pierre Jean Vandoorne, denied that his country would issue a travel warning, explaining that there are no specific threats against French citizens. The diplomat called on the guerrillas to release unconditionally and as soon as possible to the communicator that was retained after heavy fighting with guerrillas from the front 15 in the department of Caquetá. “I would submit these considerations to those who have Roméo Langlois today and remind them of their commitment not to kidnapping, I hope the reporter to be released soon,” said the ambassador.
