Four suspects caught in Merliot City, El Salvador trafficking cocaine

After two raids in Merliot City, El Salvador, police arrested four people charged with trafficking drugs. 142 portions of cocaine, valued at about $3 thousand, and a 12-mm gun were seized, El Mundo reports. Investigators stated that the arrests were the product of a two-month investigation. José Carlos Sosa (39), Julio César Cortez Flores (32), and Gladis Elizabeth Chilín (30) were identified as the detained suspects. The owner of the restaurant in which the suspects operated, Alonso López (40) was also arrested. With the help of canine units, officials were able to discover the cocaine, which was hidden in a vest and places such as the kitchen. Read Article
