Florencio Varela, Argentina: Police Rescue Four Girls, Victims of Sex Trafficking

On July 8, 2013 Cuatro Medios Noticias reported the rescue of four Argentinian girls between 13 and 15 years old, who were the victims of human trafficking in the Km 26 neighborhood of Florencio Varela.

The police investigation also led to the arrest of a woman and a man, aged 32 and 28 respectively, on charges of corruption of minors, prostitution, and possession of illicit drugs. Police determined that the children had been forced into performing sexual practices, in addition to the consumption of alcohol and drugs.
