Every four minutes there is a death due to stroke in Argentina

Stroke (CVA) causes one death every four minutes in Argentina, making it the second leading cause of death after heart disease and the leading cause crippling disability in people over 40 years. However, since the state have not been developed preventive measures specific to the pathology and for this reason, Argentina Neurological Society decided three years ago to face massive annual campaigns for people to recognize the symptoms as soon as possible and contact emergency services because the first two hours are key to reducing future consequences of brain damage.
