El Salvador: Murder numbers this year already surpass 2010

When only one month remaining to the end of this year, El Salvador has been the scene of 4.005 murders in different parts of the country. The figure reinforces violent deaths until 30 November, and also shows that victims will be more murders this year, which occurred in 2010 (4.004 in 12 months)

Victims of violence are even more numerous than those that were posted from January 1 to November 30, 2009, the year closed 3.937 homicides, and until November 2010 was 3.680 quantified violent deaths.

The average daily homicides this year has remained twelve days. Details that the police force the most violent days in this 2011 are still on Monday February 21 and October 31, with 23 murders each day.

Meanwhile, the weekend in which they committed more crimes is still on Saturday 29 and Sunday October 30, with 36 violent deaths. Read Article
