Ecuador, used car prices increase due to tax reform

The prices of cars will be most affected by the entry into force of the new tax reform. The new cars will be affected by the increase in the tariff value of parts (CKD) and the rise in tax on foreign exchange outflow from 2% to 5%. The vehicles used will also be affected by so-called green taxes that punish more strongly to older vehicles and the higher cylinder capacity. Read Article
