Ecuador: Tungurahua Volcano, Increased Activity

Ecuavisa.com reported the Tungurahua volcano recorded an increase in their activity, which had remained “at low levels” for almost two months, reported today the Instituto Geofísico (IG) of the Escuela Politécnica Nacional of Ecuador. The Colossus yesterday underwent “a small issue” and although “not heard any cannon or associated noise” was seen “a column emission with a moderate to high-ash burden” that exceeded the thousand meters above the crater, said the institution.
