Ecuador: Reventador Volcano is shaking and shimmering

expresso.ec reported the Reventador volcano has a high activity. This is reported by the Twitter account of the Coordinating Ministry of Security of Ecuador. “The volcano Reventador presents ash emission. It is monitored 24 hours a day, “the report said.

According to the ministry, it was possible to observe several emissions with low ash load, heading north, a few meters high from the summit. In addition, the volcano sector is clear. From 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday there were 25 long period events and 32 explosions. There were also rains during Saturday night, but no lahars were generated.

The Reventador volcano is located 90 km from Quito, between the provinces of Napo and Sucumbíos.
