Ecuador: Trade Balance through Sept 2014, surplus of 500 million dollars

The trade balance for the period from January to September this year recorded a surplus of $ 502.3 million. Total exports in FOB value (in port) were $ 19,946.4 million, while imports amounted to $ 19,444.1 million.

This result shows that the Ecuadorian international trade had a recovery of 150.8%, compared with the trade balance for the same period in the previous year, which was – $ 987.9 million, according to a report by the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE).
