Ecuador: National Assembly approves trade agreement with European Union

99.7 percent of products exported to EU to have zero tariffs.

eltelegrafo.com.ec reported the National Assembly has approved a trade agreement between Ecuador and the European Union, with 97 votes in favor. The trade deal now goes to President Correa before it’s published in the Registro Oficial. The agreement will take effect January 1. 99.7% of Ecuadorian products exported to the EU will be eliminated.Read Article
