Ecuador to pay retired teachers in bonds

The teacher unions reflect the Government yesterday asked about the decision to pay pensions to government bonds, as the punishment provided year term and are not appropriate to their needs. Though representing different sectors of the teaching branch, Alfonso Yanez, coordinator of the Retired Teachers of Ecuador, and Adolfo Ramirez, President National Federation of University Professors, gave their reasons for concern felt by the official measure to cancel the pensions in the public sector with government paper. According to Yanez, 468 teachers who retired voluntarily from a universe of 10,000, received retirement in bonds in July, which has created a dire situation on the servers who gave their lives to serve the country.
