Ecuador to add 15,000 National Police by 2017

eluniverso.com reported that the goal of the Ministry of Interior and National Police until 2017 is to increase the number of staff in both institutions. But yesterday, José Serrano Salgado, Minister of Interior, who came to act as a delegate of President Rafael Correa and Suarez General Rodrigo Salgado, commander of the Police, only referred to the number who aspire to get into the law enforcement agency: 57,000 gendarmes.
