Ecuador: State of Emergency declared five provinces due to winter rains

Establishing coordination among various ministries to alleviate the effects of heavy rains. It is also expected that the Ministry of Finance to allocate the resources needed to mobilize people at risk and their subsequent relocation to shelters, Ecuavisa reported. The provinces in which they declared a state of emergency are: Manabi, Guayas, Los Ríos, El Oro and Loja, where the most affected by the rains. Read Article
