Risk Management Secretariat denies earthquake and tsunami rumors in Ecuador /
hrough a press release, the National Risk Management (SNGR) just a few minutes to dispel rumors circulating via email and social networks on the occurrence of an earthquake and tsunami in the country. The e-mail reads: “the International Red Cross and the World Meteorological Organization have just confirmed the International Alert Earthquake of 8.5 magnitude on the Richter scale with epicenter in the city of Quito and, consequently, a devastating tsunami with waves 15 to 20 meters, then to occur in Australia and Panama earthquake of 6 and 7 degrees. ” Read Article
